This is just a selection of Before/ During photos to remind me of my progress whilst I’m stuck in this plateau.

The ‘befores’ are from between Jan 2011 and April 2012. I weigh around 150 pounds.

The ‘durings’ are from now (ish!) They’ve all been taken within the last 6 weeks, when my weight has fluxuated between 131 and 134 pounds.

I’ve just been trying to make healthier food options, and during the last 3 months have trained for and completed a 10km race. I’ve also taken up Roller Derby.

15 pound difference…

Hello. I’m 5’6! I started my healthy eating and exercise for New Years and having been working at it ever since. 🙂 I cut down on junk foods like candy and fast food. I still have them once in a while. I completely cut out pop a few years back, and have continued this habit. I started eating more vegetables and fruits. I walk for at least 10 minutes daily but my goal is to start doing more! I am wanting to cut out dairy completely do to being lactose intolerant, and I have switched skim milk for unsweetened almond milk. These two photos are a 15 pound difference, though I still have 20-30 more pounds to go. I’m totally open to talking about weight loss and healthy lifestyles with you all. 🙂 I thought my 15 pounds wasn’t a huge difference but the picture proves it I think.

30 Day Shred…

Hi everyone! This is the visible progress I’ve made on my fitness journey (so far!).

Around 3 months ago I resolved to live a healthier lifestyle; I started with drinking more water, getting more sleep, becoming active and of course, eating clean! Since then I’ve played around with the 30 Day Shred, weight lifting and different forms of cardio, but consistent yoga and a generally active lifestyle have really made the difference for me, mentally and physically.

I’m 5″7, or 170cm tall – my weight in the first photo was 142lbs and I’m currently at 131lbs.

I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made, and being able to see it in these photos makes me feel motivated to keep going and push harder!

Really motivated body change…

Left: october 2012 Right: may 2013 SW: 245 CW: 2009 i dont have a weight goal since i just want to reduce my fat % My major loss (30 lbs) was during the first 3 months in february i started lagging on the gym because i switched jobs and my schedule got messed up, i started going back by the end of april again (i work out 4-5 days a week) and all this time ive been trying to eat healthy even though its quite difficult for me, i quit drinking and my social life is pretty much over, i only take protein (about 90 grams a day) and i dont drink anything with stimulants, cut my carbs down and try to rest at least 7 hours a day, it is difficult but looking at this B/A makes me feel really motivated!

Feb 2005 / May 2013 ..! Allowed myself to become very comfortable with LIFE .. Due to various changes in my job an martial status .. I’ve committed myself to looking after me .. Joined the gym and have been going hard .. I enjoy workin out and allowing others to know change is possible thru hard work and determination ..! Take that step , make those changes in your diet and the weight shall seemingly melt away
